Your problem is may be related to the issues with previous Native Application update or re-installation. At this time I definitely CANNOT recommend this add-on/extension.

The only reason I gave it one star is because every now and then I may come across a video clip that this add-on/extension will let me install without the need to use the native application.but this is very rare.

Am I missing something or all these positive reviews paid reviews? I have tried default install locations, custom install locations, with firewall on and firewall off, anit-virus on and anti-virus off and this add-on/extension still does not detect the native application. It never ever detects the "native application." It just keeps continually telling me I need to install the native application to download videos. It doesn't matter how many times I install it, remove it then reinstall it, install and remove Firefox, install-remove and reinstall the native application even a fresh install of Windows.this will not work. No matter what I do or try to do I cannot get this add-on/extension to work.

and by long time I mean several past version of this add-on/extension, Firefox and PC and laptops. I have tried using this add-on/extension for a long time. what I mean is I don't understand these reviews for this add-on/extension. I don't understand this add-on/extension.
